Campers, parents, staff and alumni share their stories.

“I made lifelong friends at camp — people I still talk to today, almost 40 years later. When my son was old enough to go to camp, it never occurred to me to send him anywhere else. Summer camp creates memories and friendships that last a lifetime. I still smile when I look at my camp pictures.”

“I have been home for less than 48 hours and I feel as if I still should be at camp. This session was one of the best I have been to. The memories made at camp are the ones we cherish and hold onto until we return to camp.”

“My girls LOVED their first experiences at CTT. CTT is a place where everyone gets along and where counselors and kids of different ages are truly one big community. The team building activities, particularly the evening activities, are amazing. My kids loved them and didn’t even realize that they were developing real life skills! There was no drama during their two weeks of living with other girls! We are very grateful that our girls had the opportunity to experience it and the girls are already talking about next summer.”

“We were confident that CTT would be a great fit for our two boys the moment we met Glenn. He told us that his goal is for every camper to have a great summer, and it was even better than we imagined. Both of our boys had great experiences and are excited to return. Looks like we will be back for many years!”

The best gift my parents gave my sister and me was the gift of camp. As a former camper, Camp Tall Timbers has given me lifetime friendships, self-confidence, and the ability to try new things. Sometimes I wake up and go outside to get the paper and think, “it smells like camp!” Today, as the mother of two campers, I love that they are able to try new things in a safe and controlled environment, knowing they are experiencing what I did at their age. The Smith family is the reason why we keep going back!

“I was fortunate enough to have worked as a Staff Member at CTT for 4 years. It is a great summer camp where everyone knows everyone (a very underrated quality these days) which really enhances the experience for both staffers and campers. If there were ever the perfect place to send your child to a “home away from home” CTT is the place.”
